Post-discharge engagement is an operational responsibility.
Behavioral-health programs organize everything around the first 30 to 90 days. Recovery is measured in years. afterflow exists so the relationship a program builds in treatment keeps running after discharge, as a workflow with owners, a schedule, and a record, and so leadership can see the results clearly.
Alumni events and group chats matter. They are not a system.
Community initiatives depend on energy and goodwill. Post-discharge engagement also has to survive staff turnover, a bad month, and a board meeting. Four reasons it belongs on the operations side of the house:
It has a recurring cadence
Milestones fall on dates. Check-ins run on a cadence. Review and referral asks have a right moment. Work with a schedule needs a system that keeps the schedule.
It has owners and handoffs
Someone has to reach out when a member goes quiet, and someone else needs to see that it happened. That is coordination, and coordination needs a shared record.
It produces evidence leadership needs
Sends, responses, outcomes, reviews, and attributed referrals are how an alumni program justifies its budget. Evidence only exists when the work is logged as it happens.
It carries downstream value
Alumni-referred admissions and public reviews are among the highest-trust inputs a program has. Leaving them to chance is an operational decision, whether or not anyone made it on purpose.
Follow-up is a workflow, not a sentiment
Good intentions do not reach the 90-day mark on time. A queue with an owner, a due date, and a log does. afterflow is built for the coordinator who has to run that queue every week.
Built with the people who do the work
Alumni coordinators, house managers, and directors shaped every screen. We build from the desk of the person who actually sends the message and logs the call.
Recovery data is sacred
Confidential fields are masked by default, role-based access is baked in, and row-level security is on every table. afterflow is not a clinical record, and it does not connect to one.
bedflow upstream. afterflow post-discharge. Solvhaus underneath.
The same studio builds all three, and each has one job. afterflow is not a bedflow feature, and this page is not a consulting pitch. There is no native data connection between bedflow and afterflow today; the products are designed to complement each other.
bedflow
Referral operations, admissions coordination, and live bed visibility before and at intake.
afterflow
Alumni engagement and retention operations after a person leaves treatment: follow-up, outreach, check-ins, reviews, referrals, outcomes.
Solvhaus
The operational infrastructure and implementation partner behind both products, working with programs on the day-to-day operations side.
And alongside what a program already runs
Clinical systems
Stay the system of record for clinical documentation. afterflow does not connect to them today and never holds a chart.
Spreadsheets
Bring the alumni list in by CSV and take it back out by CSV. The spreadsheet stops being the place follow-up lives.
Inboxes and phones
Milestone, check-in, and review emails send from the platform. Texts and calls still start from the staff member's own device.
bedflow
Runs upstream of afterflow. No native data connection between the two today; the products are designed to complement each other.
How we work
afterflow is delivered hands-on. Rather than dropping you into an empty dashboard, we sit with your team during onboarding and configure the workspace around your real programs, sobriety-date sources, and alumni list. Once your program is set up, coordinators and directors share one workspace.
We charge one flat monthly rate. Unlimited team members, no per-seat fees. Plans are priced by alumni records and the modules you run.
Team
afterflow is built by Noah and Becka, the founders of Solvhaus Solutions, the same team behind bedflow and Trusted Treatment Nav. They have spent years building software with treatment centers and recovery programs, and they still answer the calls themselves.
Noah
Co-founder, Solvhaus Solutions
Noah co-founded Solvhaus Solutions, the studio behind bedflow and Trusted Treatment Nav. He works closely with treatment centers and recovery homes on the day to day operations side, and he leads product direction for afterflow.
Becka
Co-founder, Solvhaus Solutions
Becka co-founded Solvhaus Solutions and works alongside the teams who run alumni programs. She focuses on how the software feels to use in real conversations, so the tone stays warm and the workflows stay simple.
